In light of our CEO's decision to step down, we embarked on a mission to honour her exceptional achievements. Collaborating closely with my manager, I played a key role in crafting a heartfelt tribute. Through research and creative ideation, I developed a unique concept centred around a commemorative book, collating heartfelt messages and treasured photographs contributed by our past and present employees.
To amplify the emotional impact, I orchestrated the production of a commemorative video, featuring clips from our farewell gala held at The Great Hall in Westminster, combined with a touching sequence of written messages printed on cardboards held by key members of staff (present and past).
With a deep personal connection to our CEO built over years of collaboration, this project held a special place in my heart, as I aimed to create a celebration that blended joy and profound meaning, honouring her enduring impact on our organisation.
The project started with the design of the Report “The Amazon, a critical climate tipping point”, a project in collaboration with the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Originally intended for a private group of investors, the report's impact was so profound that the project owner decided to release it publicly after an overwhelmingly positive response to the designed version and specifically to my work in creating a captivating infographic which had been used as main focus in our social media campaign.
In addition to the report, I played a crucial role in supporting the team by shooting and collaborating with a local editor in putting together a video interview with Indigenous representatives. These remarkable individuals visited our offices as part of their European awareness campaign, shedding light on the devastating impact of deforestation and the threats faced by indigenous communities in the Amazon.
In crafting the video, I made a deliberate creative choice to adopt a more dramatic approach, strategically placing a powerful statement at the beginning to set the tone for the rest of the narrative. This bold introduction captivated viewers and ensured that the urgency and significance of the message resonated deeply throughout the entire video production.
Leveraging various platforms, we strategically disseminated key insights and captivating visuals, igniting conversations and mobilising individuals to take action against deforestation and advocate for the rights of indigenous communities.
Within the context of the 10-year Blueprint for Responsible Investment, the PRI's latest strategic plan for 2021-24 leverages the organisation's unrivalled position as the global leader in responsible investment.
I led the design of the main report and liaised with an external production company based in Australia and worked with other stakeholders in crafting the promotional video, aligning the assets to the strategy’s tagline "Building a bridge between financial risk and real-world outcomes".
As part of our 2019 Conference's marketing offering, I collaborated closely with our social media manager to capture the perspectives of the youth and their top concerns, as well as their expectations from governments in addressing these issues. The purpose of this engaging video was to present it during the conference, fostering alignment between investor priorities and broader societal goals.
Together, we put together a release form and dedicated two days to conduct insightful interviews. I then edited the footage to produce the final product. This experience provided a refreshing break from our desks, allowing us to connect with individuals and hear their diverse viewpoints.
The video received very positive feedback from both management and conference attendees, affirming its impact and effectiveness.
A colleague approached me seeking solutions to address recruitment challenges as he was struggling to find candidates for some open roles he and his colleagues had in their respective teams.
Taking on this exciting opportunity, I initiated discussions with the HR department to identify the key issues and explore potential strategies. Our decision was to leverage the existing LinkedIn campaign but with a more strategic approach while enhancing the PRI's brand proposition.
I came up with the idea, of creating a captivating video to be featured on our website and more widely in our recruiter campaigns. To accomplish this, I reached out to the entire organisation, seeking volunteers to provide strategic responses that formed the foundation of the final script. Subsequently, I engaged a professional production company to handle the camera work. Capturing the essence of the office environment naturally emerged as the focal point of our video concept, emphasising the relaxed yet impactful atmosphere.
Moreover, recognising the importance of providing timely and comprehensive information to potential employees, I proposed a fresh design concept for our social media assets. This innovative format incorporated essential details such as role specifications, salary, contract terms, and location and built on the PRI's brand value of transparency.
The video was very well received from both a marketing and brand onboarding standpoint. Involving employees led to a deeper sense of belonging to the organisation and its values.
I utilised this project as a practical assignment for my video editing course at City Lit college in London. I am delighted to share that my revamped video was selected as an entry to the City Lit Flicks, the college's esteemed annual film festival held at the London Cinema Museum.
Moreover, the overall outcome was exceptionally encouraging, with a remarkable increase in engagement across our recruitment streams. We observed a significant 22% surge in candidate applications and an impressive 40% retention rate during the application process, showcasing the effectiveness of the revamped approach.
I was asked to design a new kit for our 5-a-side football team, an internal initiative created to bring together employees of all abilities, age, gender, seniority, etc. The pitch I presented, which included the jersey design I also a proposal for the initiative’s tagline: "Tackling sustainability challenges", received very positive feedback.

My belief in using visual storytelling to convey messages and create meaningful connections has allowed me to contribute effectively to these projects, and I am very pleased with the overwhelming positive feedbacks I received.
